Model Y “Juniper” Deliveries Expected in April or May
Set to arrive in the Turkish market by June, the Model Y “Juniper” made a bold entry into China’s EV market, achieving massive success on its first day. This impressive order volume reaffirms Tesla’s dominance and popularity, solidifying its position as the top-selling EV brand in China.
Offering refreshed design and advanced features, the “Juniper” comes in two variants tailored for the Chinese market:
- RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive): Starting at approximately $36,000
- Long Range AWD (All-Wheel Drive): Starting at approximately $42,000
While discounts were offered on older Model Y vehicles, customers have shown strong preference for the new Juniper model. Tesla sold 480,309 Model Y units in China in 2024, reflecting a 5% increase, and is poised to maintain this momentum in 2025.
